About Us

We are the ShadowMakers

Who we are

ShadowMaker Studios is a small, fast-moving, multidisciplinary team of creative and technical video game development professionals based out of Seattle. We are a startup that is creating a high-performance desktop computer game that integrates BLE wearable sensors to create an immersive gaming experience.

Our philosophy

Virtual reality isn’t about headsets. It’s about user interactions. Immersive experiences are achieved by freeing ourselves from keyboards and mice. They are achieved through authentic experiences. They are achieved by responsiveness of an interaction to your emotional state.

Our culture

Everyone on our team has worked together before in previous ventures / projects. We trust each other. We know each others’ values. We all prioritize ethics and fair interactions. We value autonomy, expression, and empathy.
